Harcus
Team Manager and #26 Car Race Strategist
Paul “Ziggy” Harcus joined Andretti Green
Racing in 2008 as team manager. In addition to his team manager
duties, Harcus will direct Marco Andretti and the #26 crew
by serving as race strategist during event weekends.
Harcus
has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in motorsports.
He came to AGR after serving as the director of operations
for the Champ Car World Series from 2005 to 2007. As the
director of operations, Harcus oversaw all technical aspects
of the race cars. He was charged with administrating all
inspections as well as managing all race officials.
Harcus
also spent two seasons working in the IndyCar Series with
Kelley Racing where he served in the team manager role. He
directed all aspects of the two-car operation and worked
with drivers Al Unser Jr., Scott Sharp and Tony Renna.
Before
his stop in the IndyCar Series, Harcus spent more than 10
years working at PacWest Racing. Harcus began working as
a chief mechanic before moving into the team manager position
of PacWest’s Indy Lights program and working with future
IndyCar Series champions Scott Dixon and Dan Wheldon.
Harcus
also spent time at Galles Racing as a chief mechanic where
he worked with drivers Adrian Fernandez, Pancho Carter and
1985 Indianapolis 500 winner Danny Sullivan.

and his wife Nicole reside in Indianapolis with their three
children, Cameron, Liam and Lauryn
