Vonage
Holdings Corp., the leading broadband phone company will
continue their association with Marco Andretti in 2007.
Vonage
served as Marco's primary sponsor for the duration of the
2005 IndyPro season. Vonage also sponsored Marco Andretti
during his 2004 championship-winning effort in the Skip
Barber National Championship. The two parties extended
their relationship to support his entry in the 2005 Star
Mazda Championship.
The
sponsorship program with Vonage is designed to promote
the Vonage brand name and to educate consumers about Vonage's
voice-over-IP (VoIP) product offerings. Vonage will receive
prominent identification on Marco's #26 car,
his driving uniform and helmet as well as the team's transporter,
equipment and uniforms.
"Vonage is a rapidly growing
company, acquiring hundreds of thousands of customers annually.
I am excited to race, and to represent Vonage both on and
off the race track," said Marco. "I have been
around racing for my entire life and have learned from
my dad and grandfather the importance of delivering both
exposure and business results for sponsors like Vonage."
Dean
Harris, chief marketing officer for Vonage said, "Motorsports
fans are a desirable demographic for Vonage. Our phone
service relies on broadband technology and motorsports
fans are certainly technology-savvy. Plus, our association
with Marco Andretti links Vonage with one of the great
family names in the sport and provides us with the opportunity
to promote our message to this audience as both Marco and
Vonage grow."
