MARCO ANDRETTI TALK
The worst thing to do is to have skill and be big-headed and boastful.
I don’t want to tell people I have skill; rather, I want people to see it and know it for themselves.
Interview - IRL Teleconference

"I want to win every race I compete in but realistically, I think I can win the championship. I have one thing left to do at Indianapolis (in reference to his near win in 2006). I have been lying low and training hard but there's no substitute for seat time. A year ago I was relieved once we won a race. The win took a burden off my shoulders."

Marco Andretti - Rookie of the Year Press Conference

"I think the beauty of this team is there are two people (Michael and Mario) who care a lot about Marco and want what is best for Marco and ourselves. And I think right now getting in and getting experience is helping us, as a team. You know, the more we can put him in a different car, the better it is and the better he will do for us. That is what we are doing right now. We will put him in a NASCAR, and just doing that will help him. For the future we would love to have him for the rest of our time, you know, but it is probably not going to happen. We have him for at least the next two years and we are going to try to make best out of it, so who knows? What we know now is what we have. We will make the best of it, and hopefully we win lots of races with Marco."
Michael Andretti - Autosport

"I'm forcing myself not to think about it or else I'll lose focus on my main goal, and that's to get an Indianapolis 500 victory and hopefully an IndyCar championship.
I don't think it would be fair to me or my team to even think (about F1) because then it just sort of takes me out of contention this year.
It means my mind isn't 110 percent into IndyCar, which is what you need."
Marco Andretti

"I think Marco performed well in the test. The most important thing is that he made no mistakes. His physical build is well suited to F1, and at Jerez he got within half a second of [Honda’s junior test driver James] Rossiter. Not bad, is it?."
Mario Andretti - La Gazzetta dello Sport

"Formula One is a big dream of mine. In a perfect world...I would like to win the Indy 500 and then come to Europe."
Marco Andretti - La Gazzetta dello Sport

"Clearly if he enjoys himself and we think there's a spark there, there's the opportunity to do more."
Nick Fry -Honda F1 -Reuters

"It's a great honor. T. Wayne had the same belief that my entire family does, and that was getting the sport out there and getting it done.
My entire family got the award. I'm honored to be the third."
Marco Andretti - honored with the T. Wayne Robertson Newsmaker of the Year Award Jan. 27 at the annual Eastern Motorsports Press Association convention
